Meet The Murd

Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Murdock Quid, otherwise known as Murdy, otherwise known as The Murd. I am your joyful and all knowing host as we navigate this wonderful and exciting world together.

My story is quite simple. I adopted my loving hoomans, Chris and Kathy, in September of 2019 when they fortunately came upon me at the Pensacola State Fairgrounds Adoption Event. Let’s be honest here – how could they not fall in love with me? I was adorable as a black mouth cur puppy and I just get keep better with time. My original Rescue Mama, God bless her, originally named me and my siblings an Irish name to celebrate her Irish heritage and my parents wisely decided to honor it.

To say I’ve improved their lives is quite the understatement. We are constant companions in life and are thick as thieves. I take them jogging at the beach or around the neighborhood nearly everyday or simply chill with them on the couch or at a bar. I’m a pretty social guy who loves attention from hoomans and fellow mutts. My Navy pops (retired after 24 years of service) taught me how to be a a sharp dressed pup with an impressive collection of scarves and neckerchiefs. I always bring my A-game.

I have learned so much from my parents and other hoomans that I wanted to share my accumulated knowledge and wisdom with you, my dear readers, fellow pups. So write to me! I am here to answer your questions and solve those problems with wisdom, honesty, and maybe a little snark here and there.
